How do coaching and massage complement each other?

The body has a cellular memory.
It’s not only with the brain that you store and remember information, digest experiences, and re-set behavior patterns:

it’s in your whole body.
Your body has a memory and it contains the blueprint of your whole life.
During a coaching traject, you may encounter certain beliefs that are limiting you.

To speak about them and to cognitively understand what you are doing is one way of approaching what’s happening. That’s with the brain and your intellect.

Your Body is actually much smarter than your intellect.
Your body has all the wisdom that you need to be happy, fulfilled, and at ease.

Sometimes this natural state of bliss can get blurred:
Self-sabotaging patterns, stress, or not recognizing your natural boundaries can get in the way.

To truly feel what’s going on is a combination of “peeling the layers”, seeing, sensing, feeling- and then taking action to set new steps.
Steps that are exactly right for you at that moment, safe, and in line with what you need to feel in sync with who you are.

An example:
memories that go way back maybe even go right to your childhood and can be triggered by the sound of a voice, a smell, or an image…Your nervous system responds to these triggers and digs up the memories connected with them.

In the coaching, there are phases to dig in, find the triggers that stand in the way, and deal with them.
The next step is Integration.

Integration needs rest and time.
A massage can serve to give your body and mind the time to absorb and receive new information.
It allows your body to let the insights land and integrate them into your whole being.
